Dropbox can be used for photo and video storage. You will need your Dropbox login details and the following prerequisites before you start the steps below:
A PC or laptop (with access to your email) connected to the same network as the Concord unit.
Email address set up and working in the Concord Network->Email menu before setting up Dropbox.
The Concord’s IP address from its System Info page (circled-i icon on the bottom-right of the grey bar).
- Log in to the Concord unit and go to Device -> Cloud. Tick Cloud Storage to enable.
- Choose Dropbox from Cloud Type.
- Set the Overwrite.
- Choose the Video Type.
- Define the folder name for each channel.
- Click the Activate Cloud button, the system will send an activation email to your receiver email address that you should have set in the Network->Email menu.
- Login to your email on the laptop or PC, and click the link in the email content. It will take you to the Dropbox authorization login page. Input your Dropbox account name and password to login to Dropbox.
- Once you authenticate with Dropbox, it will take you to the below Dropbox page, where you type in the Concord DVR’s local IP address and web port (80 is the default), and then click Authorize (The Concord and the PC / Laptop must be on the same network for this to work).

The Concord page asks you to type the DVR user name (usually admin) and its password and then click OK.
- Authorization finished; the webpage will return to your Dropbox.
- The Cloud storage has completed the setup if you find a new folder named by your NVR device name and MAC address in the Dropbox storage. Your alarm pictures and videos will be upload to this folder.
- Note: Cloud Overwrite: Use this option to overwrite the old recordings on the storage when it is full. For example, if you choose the option 7 days then only the last 7 days recordings are kept on the storage. To prevent overwriting any old recordings, select OFF. If you have disabled this function, please check the cloud storage available free space regularly, to make sure the cloud storage is not full. Recording will be stopped if the storage is full.
