The mobile phone network operators currently plan to end all 3G support by late October 2024. Some have already done so.
If you have a 3G GPS tracker (LA9026 or LA9028), it will no longer be able to connect to the tracker website and App once the telco has shut down their 3G network. Tracker data will no longer be uploaded.
4G GPS trackers (LA9039 or LA9038) will continue to work normally after the 3G network is shut down. If your telco has contacted you saying the mobile number is affected by the 3G switch-off, ask them to give you a new SIM, as your SIM may be too old to work on their 4G network.
