Recent phone security updates may cause some versions of the Concord Security NVRs to restart unexpectedly - the models (identifiable by the label on the top of the black box) are CNK8845P-A, CNK8865P-A, CNK8848P-A and CNK8868PFA-A. If your unit experiences this, please follow the instructions below to update the firmware on your NVR Base unit.
Please visit this link shown below to download the latest firmware update files for your NVR unit:

Extract the Zip file to a local folder. Copy the .SW file to a USB stick. Put the USB stick in the USB port on the back of the base station, connect a screen and mouse to the unit, and power it on if it is off.
Click the bottom-left corner of the screen and then click Setup. Enter your password.
Now click System, then Maintenance, then Upgrade. Click Select File.
If the USB stick does not appear, swap the USB stick and USB mouse around. Now choose the file: N4XXX_V190321V200805V210625V210611V210528V210528_W.sw
Press OK, and then press Upgrade.
Wait for the success message – the unit should restart after a minute or so. If it does not, power-off the NVR Base unit by pressing Shutdown from the bottom-left corner menu.
