This E1 message appears on the display when the fridge senses that the external battery voltage is too low. The fridge will stop running, to preserve the battery capacity.
E1 can also be caused by the power cable being too long, or a loose plug connection. You can customise how low a voltage the fridge will accept before the fridge displays E1 and stops running.
How to change the fridge 12v battery protection setting:
- Connect the fridge to power, and press the Power button to turn it off
- Press and hold the + and - buttons together until the display turns on
- Tap the - button to change it from “H” to “M” or “L”.
- Wait for the blinking to stop.

How to change the display from Fahrenheit to Celsius:
- Connect the fridge to power, and press the Power button to turn it off
- Press and hold the + and - buttons together until the display turns on
- Tap the Power button
- Tap the + button to change it from F to C.
- Wait for the blinking to stop.
