You can use Gmail for email notifications of camera events detected by your Concord NVR system. The email sent to you will include the type of event detected, channel number, timestamp, and a screenshot from the video.
If you want to use a different email service and can not work out how to configure it in your Concord, or the service is not supported, create a free Gmail account instead. Then, follow the instructions below to set it up in your Concord, and then configure your Gmail account at Gmail to forward all emails to your other email service.
How to setup Gmail for use with devices
Visit the following Google website link to generate the App password needed for Gmail setup on devices: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/185833?hl=en-GB - you need to do this because Google does not allow you to use your Gmail password on devices.
Setting up your Gmail account on the Concord system
On the Concord's screen, right click the mouse, choose System Setup from the menu.
Type your password, and press Log in - if you saved it, just click Log in.
If you do not know your password, you can reset it.
Choose Camera from the top middle.
Tick the box for Email, and click Email settings.
SMTP Provider dropdown should be set to gmail.
Type your full Gmail address in the Sender/Recipients Email box.
Type the Google App password (including spaces between the letter groups) in the Password box.
Press Send Test Email - it should return a success message.
Press Save Changes if successful.
