What happens to my Nextech GPS tracker now that the 3G network has shut down?

The mobile phone network operators ended all 3G support in late October 2024.

If you have a 3G GPS tracker (LA9026 or LA9028), it will no longer be able to connect to the tracker website and App. Tracker data will no longer be uploaded. 

4G GPS trackers (LA9039 or LA9038) will continue to work normally after the 3G network is shut down.

If your telco has contacted you saying the mobile number you are using in a 4G tracker (LA9039 or LA9038) is affected by the 3G switch-off, ask them to give you a new SIM, as your SIM may be too old to work on their 4G network.
