Setup on Windows for Capture, or Streaming to Internet services
Download the OBS Studio software and install it. When prompted, choose the middle option to optimise for recording. The software will check your PC is powerful enough to run it, then just click through to finish the install.
Plug in the XC4661 to the PC via USB.
Run the OBS Studio software, and click the Sources + button:
Now pick Video Capture Device from the menu:
Click OK on the Create/Select Source box:
Make sure the Device box has USB Video selected:
Scroll down and choose Audio Output Mode Output Desktop Audio (WaveOut):
Tick the box Use Custom Audio device:
Below the tickbox, select Audio Device: Digital Audio Interface (USB Digital Audio)
Click OK to save. You can adjust the audio in the Audio Mixer:
Connect your HDMI source to the HDMI port on the XC4661 and you can start.
To stream to services like Youtube, open Settings -> Stream, choose your service, login to authenticate your chosen streaming service. Then press the Start Streaming button. Follow the prompts to get the stream running.

Windows has a built-in Windows Camera App that can also directly view the output from the XC661, and can record when you press the record button on the right of the window, or press the Photo take screenshots. Click Start, then type Camera, and open it via the icon below.
